3RD-VISIT | INVISALIGN CLIN CHECK, TREATMENTS & TRAYS

Within just a few weeks, the first set of customized trays (aligners) for your smile design will be ready. But, before trying in the trays, we will review the ClinCheck, which is a program that allows us to virtually review the projected movement of the teeth from beginning to final position in three dimensions. Additionally, certain cases require certain treatments such as "inter-proximal reductions" (IPRs) which is a slenderizing process (or) "buttons", (or) "attachments", which act as anchors to assist in certain types of movement. Keep in mind that every case does not require these additional treatments but when they do, they may take place at varying stages.

After the ClinCheck and treatments (when indicated), it's time to deliver your first set of trays. You'll wear each set of trays in two-week increments, and at the end of each two-week period, you will move up to the next set of trays. You should wear your trays at all times, with the exception of eating and drinking.

TOTAL TIME: 60 TO 90 MINUTES

4TH, 5TH & 6TH VISITS | TREATMENT TRACKER & TRAYS

Generally speaking, we like to see patients back every 4 to 8 weeks to monitor progress, to give you the next set of trays and perform treatments (mid-course cleanings, inter-proximal reductions and/or attachments) when indicated.
